As we enter the middle of the year, we are really pleased to announce that one of our clients, Aortyx SL, has obtained EIC Accelerator funding. An excellent result, with the process to achieve it long, complex, and continually involving a high level of competition.
From an initial application to Step ZERO in April, the Step ONE application opened and was applied for in May. Having received three “GOs” from the evaluators Aortyx obtained permission to enter the application process for Step TWO. At this point its critical to present an excellent application and so we decided to skip the first potential cut-off and continue working to the second. The end result was fantastic with three evaluator “GOs” for all three areas of the application (IDEATION, DEVELOPMENT and GOTO MARKET).
This led to the management team at Aortyx being able to PITCH their idea to the EIC Accelerator PANEL. The Aortyx team were already good at pitching in English, and following some additional intensive work they conducted a faultless presentation and interview with the panel.
At ARC we are super pleased to have helped Aortyx pass every evaluation step FIRST TIME.
However, and mostly, we congratulate Aortyx! Your novel technology for Aortic Dissection now has sufficient funding to enter the First In Human trail phase and from there we are sure that the patch will go on to save many lives and to improve the conditions for many, many people.
